the one big soup now with eArt in it
MattisManzel:
The wiki-net has made some seven mileish headway recently. I’m adapting the eArt-wiki-center-en and make it part of the one big soup.
some water left somewhere in the wiki-carburator
MattisManzel:
Moin Sam. The NearLinks work fine now but some of the feeds don’t, sorry for harassing you. There must be some water left somewhere in the wiki-carburator, I suppose. ;)
Example http://eartwiki.org/cgi-bin/hive/JuergenPaas?action=rss&full=1&days=90&match=%5E%5Cd%5Cd%5Cd%5Cd-%5Cd%5Cd-%5Cd%5Cd.*WikiNet
Less important: the eArt-wiki-hive is the only one of our wiki-hives the administration menu to the upper right is displayed in English looking at it with my German Firefox.
MattisManzel:
Sam, I can’t get NearLinks to work on the eArt-wiki-hive. Like CleanLinking and CamelCase. You have an idea?
MattisManzel:
Hi Sam. Thanks for letting the wiki-centers follow. Two current problems here.
Hi Mattis, thanks for checking out the site, I’m sorry it didn’t work…did you try clicking on the Wiki Artist logo in the centre of the black box? Thank you for looking at the paintings though, I’m very glad you liked them. As I mentioned in my email to you the paintings are very symbolic and it is that flash site which documents the symbols that go into constructing the paintings. I see the flash site as a contrast to the wiki and the paradox within the work is played out as people visit either the Flash website or the scratchpad wiki. As I alluded to in my email, I would like to start linking my paintings to your wiki project.
I would do this by including a full web address to your site within my canvases and prints. Posting paintings as links to the wiki on my blog and website and trying to generate a community of owners by selling the paintings and prints I make. A community of owners that have an interest in what the link leads to could become; art critics, deletionists or simply observers as the democratic definition of the art work is played out over decades.
MattisManzel, 2007-06-21:
Hi Josh. I’m currently about to move the entire eArt-wiki-hive over to eartwiki.org (unfortuneately we can’t mask the old url). We’ll talk on then. Have a nice day.
MattisManzel:
Hi Joshua, thanks for the mail.
On http://www.thewikiartist.com/ I see only the black square, it downloads but doesn’t play. Gotta check my flash, l8ers.
Clicking buy there are more pictures I found out. :) See more pictures would be more clever for the link, I guess.

MattisManzel:
Notes from the very beginning of the eArt-wiki-hive on Main:FrontPage moved here.
The eArt-wiki-centers are both, center-wikis for wikis for a certain language in this wiki-hive and center-wikis for wikis that are or are about (electronic) art out in wide wikilandia. They all have home pages on the eArt-center-wiki for the respective language they use.
The wiki-centers should have event-calendars.
Example: mensonges-wiki - “this is semantical art”
migration request
MattisManzel:
Sam, could you migrate
They are all three in a better future neighborhood then ;)
