(mis)applying the patterns

An exercise, kinda. I’ve been recently trying to put some poetry into the wiki-net structure. Excuse me please if I (mis)apply similar patterns here.

I wrote love letters to many of them. The women I desired. The love letters to them remain, my memory of them is more or less present and remains if written down.

Let me therefore start with an exercise: I picked the memory of a few women I’ve desired in my life who just came to my mind and wrote down the ratings for - I found out these to have have been most important for me, honestly - the fascination that came with their breasts, their hips and with how tall they are. A pretty simple pattern, yes, admitted.

google web fonts, bbCode

The fonts on google - web fonts - find the name of the font you want your text to be displayed in - can be used in the love-letter-wiki by adding [font=name of the font] on top of a paragraph.

The fonts do not work in inclusions. You need to look at the page 2012-02-02 Talk directly to see them.

Furtermore good old bbCode works in the wiki. See the test in the sand-box. bbCode additionally enables us to center text and to place images to the left and to the right of a page.

love-letters are not for testing

The experiment to create the facebook page fluorescent lady for the only day-page-set that contains love-letters on the love-letter recipient list worked out pretty nice.

What is the most interesting in the love-letter-wiki? The love-letters, I guess. So I extended what goes into the facebook page love-letter-wiki to face and love-letters and talk. As usual I have to write another love-letter to see if it works. This is good for me, yes, but I wouldn’t want to bore the fluorescent lady with too many test post. Love-letters are not for testing.

Ok, another little test to see if I can get the day-page-sets talk and face sent into the facebook page love-letter-wiki. I’m now using NetWorkedBlogs instead of ifttt. One could also send the love-letter recipient feeds to the facebook page btw. Or probably even create a specific facebook page for each love-letter recipient. Let’s see if this works first.

It does. And the facebook page fluorescent lady should display at least the first lines of new love-letters. I just have to write one to see if it works.

love-letter recipient specific feeds

New year hi. I’m experimenting with links to day-page-sets for love-letters on the love-letter recipient list instead of direct links to love letters.

I get love-letter recipient specific feeds using day-page-sets. For example the fluorescent-lady-feed. So a recipient could follow his or her love-letters in a feed reader or on his or her smart-phone.

Please, do not stop to miss the love-letters in the love-letter-wiki. They are what it was started for. The little püblishing house love-letter-wiki itself is just a side effect, essential and time consuming. There will be more love-letters.

The facebook page love-letter-wiki includes two of the day-page-sets in the love letter-wiki: face and talk. If you click the Like button to the right while logged into your facebook account your facebook avatar will be added and you’ll receive updates about new major love-letter-wiki face and talk posts in your facebook account.

Hm. Different than I first thought it’d be. Completely inadequate for realtime love-letters. Things ripen though. So this is a sexy wiki idea still, somehow. Dunno how yet.

love-letter-leaks probably, fine work to disguise the source, try to keep the poetry. Should give it a try …

I’ve been experimenting with my limbic system recently. An interesting piece of software, nobody of those we consider individuals has root. An approach for wiki in general, the limbics rules ok.
